Wix Studio 2 migration means moving a site from today's Wix Studio, Classic Editor or Harmony into "Studio Two," the new editor Wix Partners report is coming. Wix hasn't officially announced it yet, so the work starts with readiness: an audit and cleanup now, and the migration itself once Wix makes it available.
First, the honest part. As of October 30, 2026, Wix hasn't announced Studio 2, its release date or how existing sites will move. Partner blogs report a first look on November 10, 2026, and disagree about migration (here's what's been reported). We don't have preview access. So the work comes in two stages: what's useful today, and migration once Wix releases the tools.
We review your current Wix Studio, Classic Editor or Harmony site and give you a written report: design system, breakpoints, CMS structure, custom code and installed apps, each with a clear fix-now, fix-later or leave-alone call.
We consolidate colors and text themes, remove unused styles and save on-brand sections to a design library, so there's less to rebuild in any future editor.
Content typed into static pages, like services, locations, team profiles and case studies, moves into CMS collections with dynamic pages. CMS data exports to CSV, so it's portable whatever happens to the editor.
Today's Wix Studio has three default breakpoints and allows up to three custom ones. We remove the ones your layout doesn't need and fix sections held together by per-breakpoint workarounds.
Every Velo file, custom CSS rule, embed and third-party app is listed with what it does. Unused ones are removed; the rest is documented.

Not yet, because Wix hasn't released Studio 2 or any migration tools. What we can do now is a readiness audit and cleanup, so the move is quicker once Wix makes it available.
Nobody outside Wix knows. One partner blog reports existing Studio sites are expected to carry forward with migration tools; another doubts a direct path because Studio Two appears to use a different foundation. Wix did update Editor X sites to Studio automatically, but Classic Editor sites still need a rebuild.

That hasn't been confirmed. One partner blog reports Studio 2 shares its site structure with Wix Harmony, which may make Harmony sites easier to move. For Classic Editor sites, the path available today is a rebuild in Wix Studio.
