Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Wix Engine ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on wixengine.com (the "Site"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They let the site remember things between page loads — for example, whether you have already seen the cookie banner. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and the scripts loaded by embedded tools. In this policy we call all of these "cookies".
Cookies can be first-party (set by wixengine.com) or third-party (set by another service we embed, such as Google Analytics or our booking tool). They can be session cookies, deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay for a set period.
2. How we use cookies
We keep cookie use on the Site deliberately light. The Site is a static marketing site hosted on Vercel and delivered through Cloudflare; it has no user accounts, no shopping cart and no advertising network. We use cookies for three purposes only:
- Strictly necessary — to run the Site securely and remember your cookie choice.
- Analytics — to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
- Embedded content — set by third-party tools we embed, such as the call-booking widget and any video players.
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies on the Site.
3. Cookies we use
We review this table whenever we add or remove a tool.

Images and media on the Site are served from Wix's content delivery network. Serving a file from a CDN does not by itself set a cookie, but Wix may log technical request data (such as IP address) to deliver and secure the content.
4. Analytics and consent mode
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the Site is used. The data is aggregated and we have IP anonymisation and data retention set to the minimum useful period (14 months). Google acts as our processor for this data; Google's own privacy policy also applies.
We use Google Consent Mode. This means:
- Wherever you are, analytics cookies are not set until you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. Before consent, Google receives only cookieless, non-identifying signals used for aggregate modelling.
- If you decline, or do not interact with the banner, analytics cookies stay off.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as "Reject" and don't show the banner.
5. Embedded tools
Some pages embed tools from other companies. When a page containing an embed loads, your browser may connect to that company's servers, which can set cookies and collect data under their own privacy policy:
- Call booking is provided by Wix Meetings (Wix.com). The scheduler loads on the contact page and when you click a "Book a Free Call" button. You can also open it directly in a new tab from the contact page.
- Video: we don't currently embed video players from other companies. If we add them, we'll use privacy-enhanced modes where available and update this policy.
- WhatsApp links open WhatsApp directly and do not set cookies on our Site.
6. How to manage or withdraw consent
You can change your mind at any time:
- Cookie settings link. Click "Cookie settings" in the Site footer to reopen the banner and change your choices. Withdrawing consent stops new optional cookies from being set; cookies already on your device can be removed through your browser.
- Browser settings. Every major browser lets you view, block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working properly. Instructions for common browsers: Chrome (Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies), Safari (Preferences → Privacy), Firefox (Settings → Privacy & Security), Edge (Settings → Cookies and site permissions).
- Google Analytics opt-out. Install Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout to block GA on all sites.
- Global Privacy Control. We honor the GPC signal: if your browser sends it, analytics stays off unless you turn it on in Cookie settings.
7. Your rights
Where cookies collect personal data, you have the rights described in our Privacy Policy, including access, erasure and objection under GDPR and UK GDPR, and the rights available under US state privacy laws.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when we add or remove tools, or when the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. If we add a new category of optional cookie, we will ask for consent again where required.
