What is AI video production?

AI video production is making business videos with generative AI tools, such as AI presenters, synthetic voices, generated footage and automatic translation, combined with human scripting and editing. It suits companies that need explainer, training, product or social videos regularly, often in several languages, without organizing a film shoot for each one.

AI video creation services

AI-generated videos for business pay off most for content you need often, in several versions or languages.

AI explainer videos

Your product or service explained in a minute or two: script, storyboard, motion graphics and an AI voiceover or presenter. Good for homepages, sales follow-ups and onboarding.

AI avatar videos

A stock AI presenter licensed through the platform, or a custom avatar of your own spokesperson created from their footage with their written consent. Useful for company updates, FAQs and recurring announcements.

Product videos

Your real product footage or photos stay at the center, with AI-generated backgrounds, b-roll and motion around them. We don't let AI invent what your product looks like.

Training and onboarding videos

Modular lessons you can update by editing the script instead of reshooting, exported in formats your learning platform accepts.

Localization and dubbing

Translated voiceovers, optional lip-sync, translated captions and on-screen text, so one video becomes many language versions.

Social content

Short-form cut-downs in vertical, square and widescreen formats, with captions and strong opening seconds. Pairs with our social media marketing service.

Website videos

Hero loops and "how it works" videos sized and compressed for fast page loads. We've built websites since 2014, so we know what a video does to page speed.

What AI does well in video, and where people still matter

AI is fast at first-draft visuals, presenter delivery, voiceovers, translation, b-roll and resizing for different channels. People still own the parts that decide whether a video works: the message, the script, brand judgment, editing rhythm, sound mix, pronunciation of names and terms, fact-checking and final quality control.

AI-generated footage also has known limits:

  • Visual glitches. Warped hands, garbled on-screen text and odd physics still appear and have to be caught and fixed.
  • Product accuracy. Generators can't reliably reproduce your exact product, packaging or logo, so we use real assets for those.
  • Consistency. Keeping a character or setting identical across shots takes extra work.
  • Emotional range. Avatar delivery can feel flat in personal stories. When authenticity matters most, film real people, and our video editing team can cut that footage.

Rights, consent and disclosure

  • Written consent for real people. We build custom avatars only from footage of the person themselves, with signed permission covering how and where the avatar is used.
  • The same rule for voices. Voice cloning needs the owner's documented consent. Major voice platforms, including ElevenLabs, verify consent for professional voice clones, and we collect our own written permission too.
  • No lookalikes. We don't imitate celebrities or any real person who hasn't agreed.
  • Commercially licensed tools and assets. We use paid plans whose terms allow commercial use, plus licensed music and stock.
  • Ownership. Under current US Copyright Office guidance, purely AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright on its own, while human-authored elements like the script and edit can be. Once the project is paid in full, we hand over the scripts, final files and project files.
  • Disclosure. YouTube requires creators to flag realistic altered or synthetic content, and the EU AI Act's transparency rules, applying from August 2026, require deepfake-style content to be disclosed. We label realistic AI content where rules require it and recommend it elsewhere.

Why choose Wix Engine for AI video

Human editing on every video

No video ships straight out of a generator. Each one is edited and checked for glitches, pronunciation and accuracy before you see it.

Video that works where it's published

With 2,000+ web projects behind us, we deliver files sized, compressed and captioned for your website, social channels and ad accounts.

Consent first

Custom avatars and cloned voices are created only with documented permission. That protects the people involved and your brand.

Tool-neutral

We pick the AI tools that suit each project's style and budget, and change them as better options appear.

How much does AI video production cost?

Starts from
$450 per video

AI video production starts from $450 per video.

What affects the price:

  • Length and complexity a 30-second avatar update costs less than a two-minute explainer with motion graphics.
  • Presenter type stock avatars are quicker; a custom avatar needs recording, consent and setup.
  • Languages each version needs translation, voicing and a check.
  • Visual source generated scenes, stock footage, your own footage or a mix.
  • Volume a series or monthly batch costs less per video than one-offs.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does AI video production cost?

Cost depends on length, presenter type, number of languages and how much generated versus real footage is involved, starting from $450 per video. Series and monthly packages cost less per video than one-offs. Send us your brief and we'll return an exact estimate within 48 hours.

Are AI avatar videos realistic enough for business use?

For training, onboarding, product updates and FAQs, yes. Modern AI presenters deliver scripts clearly and can switch languages easily. They're weaker at emotional storytelling and can feel slightly artificial up close, so for brand films or customer stories we usually recommend filming real people.

Can you make an AI avatar of me or our CEO?

Yes, with that person's written consent. We record them on camera following the avatar platform's requirements, then create a custom avatar that can deliver new scripts. The consent covers where and how the avatar may be used, and you can retire it at any time.

Is it legal to clone someone's voice with AI?

Cloning a voice with the owner's documented consent is generally fine. Doing it without consent can break right-of-publicity laws, such as Tennessee's ELVIS Act, as well as platform rules. We only clone voices with written permission and use platforms that verify consent. This isn't legal advice; check local rules for your use case.

Who owns the copyright to AI-generated videos?

It's nuanced. Under current US Copyright Office guidance, purely AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright on its own, while human-authored parts like the script, editing and arrangement can be. Tool terms also matter. We use commercial plans and hand over scripts and project files.

Do I have to disclose that a video was made with AI?

Sometimes. YouTube requires creators to flag realistic altered or synthetic content, and EU rules applying from August 2026 require deepfake-style content to be disclosed. Ad platforms have their own rules. Even where it isn't required, light labeling of realistic AI content protects trust.

Can AI translate and dub my existing videos?

Yes. AI dubbing can translate speech, recreate it in the original speaker's voice with their consent, and optionally adjust lip movement to match. We also translate captions and on-screen text, then review each version for accuracy and pronunciation before delivery.
