MDoors: A Builder-First Wix Website With a Plan-Upload Lead Flow
A B2B Wix website for a Coachella Valley door and window contractor. It speaks to builders and architects first, and turns a plan set into a qualified lead in three steps.

Project snapshot
MDoors supplies and installs architectural doors, windows, sliding systems, hardware and finish carpentry for custom homes in the Coachella Valley. We built their Wix website around one main action: a builder uploads plans for review. Every page points to that flow, and project galleries back up the pitch.

The challenge
Most door and window websites are written for homeowners. MDoors' best customers are builders, architects and custom-home developers. These buyers arrive with a full plan set and want a scoped, itemized proposal, not a showroom tour.
The site needed to do three jobs:
- Qualify leads with real project data. Collect plans, schedules and specs up front, so estimating can start on day one instead of after a round of emails.
- Prove the work. Show finished custom homes, tagged by location and builder, so a new builder can see who MDoors already works with.
- Speak the builder's language. Explain the proposal format, the process and coordination topics such as Title 24 compliance, in the terms a general contractor uses.
Our solution
A site built around one action
"Upload Plans" sits in the main navigation as a highlighted button. It repeats at the end of every key page, including several times on the builders page. A visitor never has to hunt for the next step.
A three-step plan-upload flow
The upload page walks builders through a short multi-step form. It ends with the plan set itself (PDF, ZIP, JPEG or PNG, up to 50 MB per file) plus optional schedules, specs and inspiration photos. It also asks for preferred contact method, best time to call and project notes. Plain-language promises sit beside the form: plans stay private, there's no obligation, and response times are spelled out.
Project galleries with builder credit
The projects page is a card grid. Each card shows location, project name and the builder, and opens a dedicated project page. Featured projects also appear on the homepage. Crediting the builder on every project works as social proof for other builders.
A dedicated page for builders and designers
The builders page covers what a proposal includes, a four-step process from plan submission to installation, repeat clients and an FAQ on timing, service area, Title 24 support and phased delivery.
Clear service structure
Services split into three areas: Windows & Sliding Systems; Doors & Hardware; and Trim & Specialty Work. Manufacturer partners are shown by logo, and the footer carries the contractor license and contact details.
