Website redesign services rework an existing website's design, structure, content and sometimes its platform to fix an outdated look, a poor mobile experience, slow pages or weak conversion rates. A good redesign starts by measuring what already works, such as top pages, rankings and backlinks, and protects it. It's for businesses whose site no longer matches their brand or goals.
If you keep thinking "I need to redesign my website," one of these is usually why:
Not every site needs to start over. We recommend the smallest change that fixes the real problem.
| Refresh | Redesign | Rebuild or re-platform | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What changes | Colors, type, imagery, a few templates | Layouts, navigation, content, UX and conversion paths | Everything in a redesign, plus a new platform or codebase |
| URLs | Stay the same | Some change, covered by a redirect map | Many change, covered by a full redirect map |
| Right when | Structure works but the look is dated | Structure and UX hold you back | The platform limits speed, features, editing or cost |
| Effort | Low | Medium | High |
Often, redesigning the five or six templates that carry most of your traffic does more than rebuilding fifty pages nobody visits.

Mobile-first designs in Figma, led by Salman, our Senior Designer: clear calls to action, shorter forms, visible proof and fast paths to pricing or booking. For deeper research, see UI/UX design.
We rewrite underperforming pages and update, rather than replace, pages that already rank. Copywriting can be included, or your team can supply it.
New templates built to pass Core Web Vitals, plus fixes for contrast, keyboard navigation, headings and alt text, checked against WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines.
Moving off abandoned themes, bloated page builders or unsupported server software onto a setup that's secure and easier to maintain, with CMS training for your team at handover.
Most traffic lost after a website revamp is lost to missing or careless redirects, not to the new design. Every redesign follows this checklist.
Rankings can move for a few weeks after any major change; this process keeps the wobble small and short. We don't guarantee positions, because nobody honestly can.
Staying on your current platform is often the right call. When it isn't, these are our options:
Wix Studio, WordPress, Webflow and custom code, so our recommendation fits your team and budget, not a sales quota.
You review and sign off the redirect map before launch, just like the designs.
Designers and developers work side by side, so the design you approve is the site that launches.

Content-heavy sites carry the most SEO risk in a redesign. For a global VC firm, we built a large editorial site with a portfolio-company directory, a stories newsroom, team pages filtered by region and events.

A website redesign with us starts from $580. Cost depends mostly on your platform and how many unique templates you need; a redesign in custom code starts from $3,000. If you only need designs for your own developers, website UI/UX design starts from $1,500.

Small sites of 5–10 pages usually take 2–4 weeks, sites with custom code 4–8 weeks, and large sites with migration or custom features longer. Content and feedback turnaround affect the schedule most. Your proposal includes milestone dates for designs, staging and launch.
It doesn't have to. Traffic losses after a redesign usually come from missing redirects, removed content or staging settings left live. We map every old URL to its new equivalent, keep content and metadata that ranks, and monitor Search Console after launch. Short ranking fluctuations are normal; lasting drops are preventable.
Redesign if your platform still does what you need and the problem is design, structure or content. Rebuild if the platform itself limits you: it's slow at its core, can't support features you need, is hard to edit or is no longer maintained. We assess this on the first call and in the audit.
Yes. Many redesigns stay on the same platform, whether Wix, WordPress, Webflow or a custom codebase. Staying put avoids migration work and keeps URLs stable. We only recommend switching when the platform is the obstacle, and we explain the cost and benefit before you decide.
There's no fixed schedule, though many businesses review their site every three to five years. Evidence is a better trigger: falling conversions, poor mobile usability, failing Core Web Vitals or a site that no longer reflects your offer. Regular small improvements can delay the need for a full redesign.
Yes. We keep existing URLs wherever the structure allows, which is the safest option for SEO. Where a URL must change, it gets a 301 redirect to its closest new page. Content that performs well is preserved and refreshed rather than rewritten from scratch.
