Canada Medical Notes and US Medical Notes: Wix Sites, an AI Chatbot and SEO That Grew From Zero

Two Wix sites built around one request form

Each site has one main action: "Get Your Note". It sits in the header and at the end of every key page, and it opens a short request form. The process is explained in three steps (submit, a doctor reviews, receive your note), so patients know what happens before they start.

Service pages for every kind of note

Each note type has its own page. Canada Medical Notes covers sick leave notes, school absence notes, fitness-to-work certificates, standard medical forms, custom medical documentation, fit-to-fly and gym-membership notes. US Medical Notes covers work and sick notes, return-to-work clearance, school and college notes, same-day notes, FMLA certificates, jury-duty excuses, ADA accommodation, and gym and travel cancellations.

Location pages for local search

Canada Medical Notes has a page for each of the 10 provinces and pages for 16 cities, from Vancouver and Calgary to Toronto, Montreal and Halifax. Each page covers that area's sick-leave rules and documentation requirements. US Medical Notes has a locations section for states and cities across the US.

Content that answers the search

The home page opens with a direct answer to "What is an online doctor's note in Canada?" and explains what employers can and can't ask for. A province-by-province summary of paid sick days follows. A blog answers the follow-up questions patients ask. Each answer is written so Google and AI search tools can quote it directly.

A custom AI chatbot on both sites

We built one chat widget with Velo and a custom element and run it on both sites. It answers patients' questions about the service at any hour and points them to the request form, so nobody has to wait for an email reply.
