From a Solo Developer
to a Global Software House

WIX ENGINE started in 2014 with a single developer, a laptop, and an obsession with building beautiful websites. What began as freelance Wix development quickly grew into something much bigger — a full-service software house that now serves clients across 15+ countries on every continent.

Over the past decade, we've expanded from Wix into WordPress, Webflow, custom development with React and .NET, mobile apps with React Native and Flutter, and cutting-edge AI solutions. We earned Wix Legend Partner status — the highest tier reserved for the top 1% of agencies globally — and delivered over 2,000 projects along the way.

2014

The Beginning

WIX ENGINE founded as a solo freelance Wix development practice. First 50 websites delivered within the first year.

2016

Expanding Platforms

Added WordPress development to our arsenal. Earned Wix Partner status and began working with international clients across Europe

2018

500 Projects Milestone

Hit 500 delivered projects. Team grew to 8 members. Started offering custom development with React and Node.js. Expanded to Upwork and Fiverr.

2019

Full-Stack Evolution

Launched custom software division with .NET, Angular, and Python capabilities. Built first SaaS product internally. Entered mobile app development with React Native.

2021
